REQUIREMENTS

Requirements For All Pets

  • Free of contagious diseases or parasites
  • Must be up to date on the following vaccinations
    • Rabies
    • Distemper/Parvo Combination (FVRCP for cats)
    • Bordetella (Kennel Cough) (required for dogs only)
      • These vaccinations are not a suggestion. They are required. We reserve the right to refuse your pet at any time if they are not up to date on all required shots.
  • If your pet has been neutered/spayed then proof of alteration is required. This is often noted on the same paperwork as the vaccination records, but that is not always the case. It is the pet owner’s responsibility to check this before arriving for your reservation. If you do not have paperwork showing proof of alteration, your vet should be able to provide you with documentation for this.
  • For your convenience, you may have your vet email proof of current vaccination records and/or proof of alteration to us at rich@barkandstay.com
  • Pets 6 months or older must be spayed/neutered to be in group daycare/playtime (applicable for dogs only). However, they do not need to be fixed to board.
  • We do not accept female pets in heat.

What To Bring When Boarding

  • Please bring your dog on a leash (Owners are required to alert staff if your pet uses a pinch collar)
  • Bringing Medications? 
    1. Please alert staff to any specific health issues and needs your pet may have.
    2. We need to know the reason for the medication and specific instructions on when/how to administer the medication.
    3.  We will gladly administer any medication (with your instructions) that your pet may need at no extra charge.
    4. The only exception is a minimal charge for administering injections ($1 per shot)

Food and Special Diets

  • Feel free to bring food from home. We will feed your pet according to your instructions.
  • If bringing food from home, please bring it in individual pre-proportioned bags.
  • Please alert staff to any specific dietary needs that your pet may have.
  • We provide all dishes for food and water, including an automatic watering system, for continuous fresh water
  • If you forget your food or not want to mess with bringing your own, for and additional $2 per day, Bark and Stay will provide a high quality adult maintenance dog food.

We Provide Bedding

  • Bark and Stay provides clean, comfortable bedding for each pet.
  • Bedding is Kuranda dog beds (1 provided in each kennel)
  • We don't guarantee the condition upon return of any personal bedding brought from home.
  • We can provide a blanket for your pet upon request.

New Customers

First time customers submitting an online reservation may be contacted to confirm your reservation.

First time bringing your pet to stay with us? Feel free to fill out these required forms ahead of time and bring them with you upon drop off!

This paperwork will also be available to fill out in person upon drop off if not done ahead of time. All customers are required to complete the necessary paperwork.
